Our Farm

Edward took over the reins in 2004. He was involved with recording the lambs during school holidays from a young age and helped Philson when he could. Ed worked with the cows for 16 years before moving to the Pine Park block.

 

35 bulls are sold in the annual sale, the first Thursday after Queens Birthday each year, along with a handful sold privately then too. Another 10-25 are sold privately in Spring to beef and dairy farms along with yearlings.

 

At Pine Park we have 256ha of flats flats – what we like to call the 'horsepower of the farm'. We run 850 recorded terminal ewes, 500 ram hoggets, and 300 ewe hogget replacements while fattening commercial lambs. All terminal lambs are recorded at birth.

We also have R1 bulls, R2 bulls (for sale, as well as Spring sales), and fatten cull R1 heifers.
